Letter, 1842 Nov. 18 (Camden, S.C.) to Peter Della Torre (Charleston, S.C.).

Letter re preparations for an antebellum political campaign, describing a Mr. Anderson of Kershaw, S.C., to whom Dickinson had given a letter of introduction for delivery to Della Torre, informing him of Anderson's stature in Kershaw, and noting, "a small voice from Kershaw might be important (politically) if uplifted in your behalf."
